SNL: Steve Carell played Jeff Bezos from Amazon to guide Trump on HQ2

Amazon and its founder Jeff Bezos made headlines this week after the company announced the official opening of a store in Queens, New York City and Crystal City, Virginia, after several weeks of speculation. Some New Yorkers protested against the decision, condemning Bezos to an anti-Amazon rally in Long Island City. But Saturday Night Live took a different approach, using the opportunity to theorize why the company eventually chose to split its second head office between these two specific sites – and concluding that Bezos simply wanted to troll President Donald Trump.

Letting the QG2's backhand largely outrage that has swirled the use of taxpayer money to subsidize the already very wealthy society, SNL This week's host, Steve Carell, played Bezos in a skit that targeted Trump's and Trump's previous attacks on Amazon.
