SEOUL – As a sign of worsening relations between South Korea and Japan, Seoul said it would dissolve the foundations of a 2015 bilateral agreement that supposedly resolved the dispute over the treatment of women during the occupation of Korea by the war.

Seoul's Ministry of Gender and Family Affairs announced Wednesday the official closure of a Japan-funded body set up to compensate the so-called Korean comfort women forced to sexually serve Japanese troops.
