HIALEAH, Fla. – A Taco Bell, Florida-based Spanish language employee was fired after the video showed her refusing to serve certain English-speaking clients.

Taco Bell Corp. said Friday at the Miami Herald that an employee seen in the viral video of a Hialeah store was no longer working for the brand.

Alexandria Montgomery posted a Facebook video Thursday of her experience on Wednesday night. The video shows Montgomery repeatedly trying to order while the driver insists in Spanish to say that she does not understand English and asks Montgomery to move her vehicle to other customers. Montgomery asks why she can not simply list the items as they are written in the menu. The worker responds "Not understandable".

Census data show that 89% of Hialeah residents speak Spanish as their first or second language. Hialeah is just northwest of Miami.
