Spider-Man Marvel: first pack of downloadable content available next week, includes 3 new costumes

Marvel's Spider-Man will receive The Heist, the first chapter of its downloadable content series "The City That Never Sleeps," on Tuesday, Oct. 23, with the new Game Plus "coming soon" mode.

The Heist will be available at a price of $ 7.99 or as part of the season pass at $ 24.99, Insomniac Games announced in an article published today on the PlayStation blog.

The first of three chapters added, The Heist begins with a robbery in an art museum mixing Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson at Black Cat. The DLC will include new storytelling missions, crimes, challenges, trophies, Spider-Man costumes and a new enemy faction.

One of the new suits was named Resilient Suit, designed by illustrator and author Marvel Gabriele Dell & Otto. The other two are Spider-Man's Scarlet Spider II and Spider-Verse Spider-UK.

This is not the first Spider-Verse suit combination with Marvel's Spider-Man, as the latest Spider-Man trailer: In the Spider-Verse featured the most iconic costume of the game. Another suit featured in Marvel's Spider-Man, the Spider-Punk costume, wears his own action figure.

Update: Previously, the blog UE PS indicated that the free update of the game, which would add New Game Plus and a level of difficulty "Ultimate", would be published tomorrow. However, all details about the mode version, as well as its plan, have been removed. Since then, Insomniac Games has announced that the New Game Plus mode will be "available soon" and any mention of the release of tomorrow would have been removed from the PlayStation blog.

The update also adds two new trophies, one for finishing the game in ultimate difficulty and another for finishing an NG + race. It is unclear whether these details will remain valid when NG + is released, and IGN solicited comments from PlayStation.
