Spoilers WWE Starrcade 2018: Results for Rollins vs. Ambrose and Full Card | Bleacher's report

The WWE Starrcade event was held Saturday night at the US Arena in Cincinnati, with the clash between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the intercontinental title in a steel cage.

A condensed one – hour version of the show will air on Sunday night on the WWE network at 8:00 pm. AND.

According to WWE.com, the WWE Network version will feature AJ Styles against Samoa Joe in a steel cage, a live performance with Elias and WWE Hall of Fame member Ric Flair, a segment of Miz TV with The Miz and United States champion Shinsuke Nakamura A team match of eight women opposing Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ember Moon and Dana Brooke to Nia Jax, Tamina, Mickie James and Alicia Fox.

Starrcade has long been regarded as WCW's version of WrestleMania, and the WWE revived the concept last year with an internal exhibition in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Here is a complete list of the matches that took place Saturday in Starrcade and the results of the spoilers for each contest.

Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ember Moon and Dana Brooke def. Nia Jax, Tamina, Mickie James and Alicia Fox

After an opening concert of the show attended by Elias and Flair, many of Raw's best female superstars had the opportunity to shine.

According to SRV1VR on Twitter, Babyface's team of Banks, Bayley, Moon and Brooke won:

Liam Winnard WrestleTalk reported that Banks had forced Fox to use the bank statement.

Although Jax's team has failed, she still occupies an advantageous position within the red mark, since she will face Ronda Rousey for the women's gross championship at the TLC pay-per-view next month.

Drew McIntyre def. Finn Balor

In the second game, Finn Balor faced Drew McIntyre, who had Dolph Ziggler in his corner.

WWE Data Lady tweeted a photo of McIntyre and Ziggler celebrating the win after winning the victory over Balor:

By Jarrod Clark on Twitter, the Scottish psychopath won with his finisher Claymore Kick.

McIntyre is in the midst of an impressive run of losses and he may soon be vying for a shot at Brock Lesnar and the World Championship as he continues to win.

B-Team def. The Renaissance

In an unannounced match, The Revival and the B-Team got their hands dirty in a battle between two teams.

SRV1VR noted that Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel had triumphed, and that the Twitter user had tweeted a photo of The Revival's Dash Wilder seeming shocked by the loss:

Starrcade was in the wheelhouse of The Revival, as they are often compared to 1980s teams such as Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, but they could not face one of the most unorthodox tandems in WWE.

The def bar New day

In a match for the SmackDown team championships, the bar was defended against New Day on Saturday night.

At Starrcade tweeted a picture of the fighters:

according to ClarkCesaro and Sheamus were victorious and they kept the SmackDown team titles for New Day.

After the bar has successfully defended titles against New Day at Crown Jewel and Starrcade, it may be time for another team, such as The Usos, to run as an opponent of Cesaro and Sheamus.

Bray Wyatt def. Baron Corbin

Bray Wyatt made a surprise return to Starrcade to meet an open challenge by Acting General Manager Baron Corbin, according to SRV1VR:

Harry Yeprem Jr. tweeted a photo of Wyatt-friendly fans with their mobile phone flashlights, which Wyatt calls his "fireflies".

By ClarkWyatt took the win in their return leg.

Corbin relaunched the contest under the rules of non-disqualification, according to Clark, but Wyatt won again after Balor, Elias, McIntyre and Ziggler got involved.

The Eater of Worlds played his last episode of Raw on August 13, when he and Matt Hardy lost a rematch of the Raw Tag Team Championship against the B-Team.

With Wyatt back, he may soon be entering singles on Raw for the first time in almost a year.

Charlotte Flair def. Asuka

In a rematch for WrestleMania 34, Charlotte Flair and Asuka faced each other in a highly anticipated women's game for the SmackDown Live brand.

WWE tweeted a video of Charlotte's entry on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the first Starrcade. His father, Ric Flair, beat Harley Race for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in the main event:

according to ClarkCharlotte beat Asuka, as she did at WrestleMania.

At Starrcade tweeted a photo of Charlotte and Asuka celebrating together after a hotly contested game:

Charlotte inflicted on Asuka her first WWE defeat at WrestleMania, and her victory at Starrcade suggests that she is still considered the biggest female star of the blue brand.

Rey Mysterio def. Shinsuke Nakamura by DQ

Rey Mysterio and Shinsuke Nakamura faced each other Saturday in a game for the US championship.

As the following photo of FlanJohn on Twitter shows, the match took place after a segment of Miz TV with The Miz:

By ClarkMysterio won the match by disqualification when The Miz stepped in, which led Rusev to run.

Nakamura retained his title due to the DQ finish, but this led to a team match with Nakamura and The Miz against Mysterio and Rusev.

Rey Mysterio and Rusev def. Shinsuke Nakamura and the Miz

The impromptu match came after Rusev and Lana signed a promotion, as shown in this Travis Fessler photo on Twitter:

according to StarrcadeMysterio and Rusev were victorious when Rusev pinned The Miz.

Clark tweeted a photo of Rusev and Mysterio celebrating:

While Mysterio did not win the US championship, he gained a much needed momentum as he continued to argue with Randy Orton on SmackDown Live.

AJ Styles def. Samoa Joe

Styles forced Joe to bang in the calf crusher, according to Fightful.com Sean Ross Sapp. Styles climbed to the top of the cage to celebrate his victory:

Joe's reputation both inside and outside of the WWE speaks for itself. At his best day, he can beat any wrestler in the world.

But Styles certainly has Joe's number. The Phenomenal One has triumphed in each of their last four meetings: Hell in a Cell 2018, Super Show-Down, Crown Jewel and now Starrcade. Joe's only win against Styles at the WWE was obtained by disqualification at SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins def. Dean Ambrose

Rollins retained his intercontinental title after defeating Ambrose.

While Rollins was the bright face of baby entering the match, Ambrose was treated as a conquering hero as he headed for the ring. Sapp Tweeting the Cincinnati fans were delirious for Ambrose, which is not surprising since he is from the city.

Rollins did his best to conquer the partisan crowd, including hitting Ambrose with a combination of superplex arrow / hawk from the top of the cage, according to Sapp.

Rollins can not savor the result for too long. Ambrose now has even more motivation to win the Intercontinental Championship from his former brother Shield at TLC.
