Spontaneous genetic mutations in the uterus can be the cause of the majority of dementia cases

"With the aging of the global population, we are seeing an increasing number of people affected by diseases such as Alzheimer's, but we still do not sufficiently understand the majority of these cases," said Patrick Chinnery, the One of the project researchers.
