A report from the NBC affiliated television channel in Las Vegas was arrested Tuesday for being masturbated in a suburban bar, according to a police report.

Security images from the North Las Vegas bar, just north of the city, captured Randy Howe, KSNV-TV's sports director, sitting in front of a slot machine looking "like he was nervous or paranoid that someone looks at him "a police officer wrote in a report.

Authorities responded to a caller at approximately 9:17 am, who said that Howe's alleged "obscene behavior" had been in effect since 8:30 am, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

An employee told two police officers interviewed that they had seen Howe heading to the restroom with his penis exposed, the police said. Other employees reportedly told the police that it was not the first time they saw Howe masturbating at the bar, according to the report.

When questioned by the police, Howe reportedly said he was scratching because of a severe rash, reported the Las Vegas Sun. An employee reportedly told the authorities that Howe had not consumed alcohol, only energy drinks.

Howe was arrested and charged with lust and indecency, police said. The court records cited by the Review-Journal indicate that Howe was released Tuesday from the Las Vegas Detention Center. We did not know right away if he had a lawyer.

KSNV Chief Executive Larry Strumwasster told the Journal-Journal that the station was "very concerned" and was conducting its own investigation. He did not comment on Howe's employment status.

Howe's LinkedIn page indicates that he joined the station in 2008.
