An actress who plays Princess Leia in a new Disney drawing took Twitter to openly mock Christine Blasey Ford, who credibly accused the Supreme Court aggressor, Brett Kavanaugh, of sexual assault .
In a tweet deleted since, Rachel Butera has released a video of herself imitating the voice of Blasey.
"I sound like I'm back at this high school party; I can not do anything about it, "said Butera, referring to the 1982 rally where Blasey said he was assaulted.
"I just have that kind of voice, like a baby, even though I'm a doctor and I'm in this media circus, on the political scene and I have children myself, whom I do not know why I'm talking frying, "continued Butera. "But you can listen to my testimony and hear that an adult woman looks that way."
Blasey testified to his alleged assault before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. She said that Kavanaugh and Kavanaugh were sitting as teenagers, that he had held her by force, that she had covered her mouth and tried to take off her clothes.
Butera now admits that her impression of Blasey "was a mistake" and stated that she "did not think it would offend anyone" in a follow-up tweet.
Along with his work on Disney's new "Star Wars Resistance" cartoon, Butera has also done voice work for the reboot of CBS's "Murphy Brown."
Disney and CBS did not immediately respond to HuffPost's request for comment.
