Start time, pitching match, alignments and more

LOS ANGELES – We assure you that Game 4 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers will take place on Saturday night. The 18 crazy rounds of Match 3 could have looked like two games, but they were only one.

The Dodgers, 3-2 winners of Max Muncy's walk-in game, now have a chance to fight in the World Series. They are still down 2-1, but have an advantage in Match 4 after the Red Sox burned their pitchers in Game 3.

There are a lot of question marks for both teams before Match 4 – mainly to find out who will start (we'll come back to that later). Dave Roberts and Alex Cora have some decisions to make. Players must bounce back or gain ground. Match 3 was crazy with 18 innings, but the way players respond to Match 3 a day later might well determine the series.

Here is our daily overview of alignments, pitching matches and more before the first pitch:

1. When does the World Series Game 4 begin?

The first field of match 4 reaches us from the Dodger stadium at 8:09 pm. AND. The game will be broadcast on FOX.

2. Pitching match

In the end, the Dodgers returned to Rich Hill as beginners of Match 4. After the third game, the Dodgers moved from Hill to TBA, suggesting that Clayton Kershaw could take a break. However, the team has since revealed that Hill would start Saturday night with Kershaw after Game 5 on Sunday.

The Red Sox have announced that the southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez will be their first pitcher after the previously scheduled player, Nathan Eovaldi, has thrown six innings and more relief in the third game.

Although it was only one batter, Rodriguez also pitched in the third match. It puts him in a rare company.

3. The queues

The question for the Red Sox was how they could have their best shots without a DH in the park at the NL. In Match 3, Andrew Benintendi was on the bench and was only touched once. In the fourth game, Benintendi returns to the lineup, but ALCS MVP Jackie Bradley Jr. remains seated despite winning a home run in the third game.

Here's how the Dodgers will line up. David Freese is back in first place against the southpaw Boston.

4. Where do these teams go after 18 innings in the third match?

Will there be a hangover in Match 4? More than likely, yes. In some cases, players return to Dodger Stadium approximately 10 to 12 hours after leaving the third match. Both teams tax their expenses in the third match. The Red Sox have particularly taxed all their throws, using four of their five starters.

It depends largely on who hits first, which is usually the victory of the Red Sox. They won all the playoff games in which they scored first and lost all games in which they did not score first – like Match 3.

So the question is whether the Red Sox can get rid of it or if the Dodger can grab the momentum. After the third match, we heard something from each side of the players.
