COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) – Ohio, ninth in the standings, went into overtime to avoid one of the most dramatic setbacks of the college season, beating Maryland 52-51 on Saturday. The Terrapins failed to convert a 2-point conversion after the potential game-tying touchdown.
Preferred by 141/2 points, Ohio State (10-1, 7-1, Big Ten, No. 10 CFP) suffered two touchdowns in the third quarter and 45-38 within two minutes of the end, before winning a decisive victory.
