The UAE will witness a total lunar eclipse that will stun the senses next month.

The longest lunar lunar eclipse of the century will take place for nearly 103 minutes.

On July 27, at 21:14 UAE local time, the moon will enter the phase of eclipse and will continue for five hours until 02:19.



This is reported by Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Deputy Director of the Sharjah Center for Space and Astronomy.

The totality will take place between 23:30 and 1:30 in the morning for 103 minutes.

The hour of the peak eclipse will be held at 12:21.

The blood moon will be visible in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand but excluding America.

The last eclipse took place on January 31st. lunar phenomena – supermoon, blue moon and blood moon.
