OAKLAND – The Warriors finished Tuesday the third of 12 consecutive sets of the season, and it could have a lasting impact.
There are few moments to remember and much to regret, including the explosion between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green on Monday night.
Here are two good points and two negative points from the division of the two games, a loss against the Clippers in Los Angeles and a victory against the Hawks in Oakland:
POSITIVE
The bench has not faltered
While Stephen Curry missed both games and Green missed the second game while he was suspended, the Warriors needed a boost from their reserves. They usually got what they wanted.
The bench scored 39 points on 68.2% of the shots against the Clippers. These are the 77 points of starters on 40.3% of shooting that failed the test.
Against the Hawks, the bench did not fire as well, perhaps because two reservists – Quinn Cook and Jonas Jerebko – were in the starting lineup. Cook and Jerebko combined 32 points (46.4%), 17 rebounds and eight assists.
If Cook and Jerebko continue to pull and stretch the floor, the Warriors will benefit.
The coup of Iguodala has air niiice
There is a sense that the Oracle Arena crowd is holding its collective breath every time Andre Iguodala throws a 3 pointers, that's because that's the case.
When it is missing, and sometimes badly, there is a groan.

When they enter, there is a lot of hearty in joy.
Iguodala, the sixth man with multiple skills of the team, scored 22 points, 8 out of 12 shots, including 4 of 5 deep, in the last two games.
Since he missed his first eight shots out of the arc, Iguodala got 8 points out of 14. That's 57.1%. It will not keep this pace – no one will – but this boost is particularly timely with Curry out.
NEGATIVE
The Green-Durant feud
Warriors can not hide this one. They can not deny it. Durant and Green fought Monday night as their teammates tried to calm everyone down.
While the score was tied and there was about five seconds left to settle, Green managed a rebound. Durant was a few meters away arguing for the ball. Green ignored him and went to dribble the court. He made a turnaround, the Warriors failed to shoot and the game was extended, Durant escaping and Golden State fading in the final minutes.
This led to the dispute on the bench that led into the locker room. This also prompted the Warriors to suspend Green for detrimental conduct to the team.
This is perhaps the most important tiff to which Green has ever been associated, a brand of fire that injects energy and enthusiasm but in this case has become too abrasive for the general interest .
Will it have a lasting effect? If comments from players and coaches are an indication, this will probably be the case.
Young adults fighting against glass
The Warriors determined that this was the year they would leave a veterans center and assign three young people: Jordan Bell, Damian Jones and Kevon Looney. The results were mixed.
One element that has always been disappointing is the rebound. Bell has only played 13 minutes in the last two games and has caught three. Looney played 45 minutes and took seven. He was the best rebounder in the group.
Jones started every game. In 32 minutes in the last two games, he had six rebounds. He has six seasons. He played eight games with three or fewer tables.
Warriors need them to be better.
