Stephen A. Smith admits Cowboys' defense is superb

The Dallas Cowboys won a lot by beating the New York Giants in the Sunday night game. They won their first win of the season, a much needed achievement considering their loss last week to the Carolina Panthers. They came a game closer to themselves David Irving return from his suspension, and potentially, Travis Frederick Guillain-Barré syndrome also. But one of the most important things that they earned was respect.

The Cowboys were kidding after losing to the Panthers. No one was laughing when Dallas managed to fire Eli Manning two times. In two games, the Dallas defense seems to be among the best in the NFL, and many analysts have taken note. One of them is Stephen A. Smith of ESPN, who has taken a lot of fun in the past to criticize the Cowboys pretty much every turn.

"You look at the Dallas defense, their defense is better than what we gave them," Smith said. First take. "I can not believe it, it makes me feel sick to say it, I almost want to throw up, but in the end, the Dallas Cowboys defense seems to be something to be reckoned with."
