Earlier this week, coach Steve Kerr said the team would be "extremely cautious" of Curry's new injury despite the return of the MRI with an "encouraging result."

The Warriors will continue to be cautious of Curry 's "light to moderate left groin" by keeping it out of the way and re – evaluating it in 10 days.

Monday's statement did not include any timetable for his return.

Although Curry does not play, he will still travel with the team on their way to Texas to face the Rockets, Mavericks and Spurs.

Curry was not on the bench during the Draymond Green-Kevin Durant exchange, which resulted in the suspension of Green's team by Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Golden State will have home games against the Thunder and Trail Blazers before Curry is re-evaluated next weekend. As soon as possible for Curry to be allowed to return would be the Warriors' home game against the Sacramento Kings.
