That's exactly what happened to Hunter Shamatt, after losing his wallet during a flight to Las Vegas for his sister's wedding.
"I noticed that I was missing my wallet, which contained $ 60 in cash and a check for about $ 400," Shamatt said. KSFY.
Hunter no longer expected to see his wallet, but a week later he received a parcel post with his wallet and a letter.
"Hunter, found this on the Frontier flight from Omaha to Denver – row 12, seat F, wedged between the seat and the wall," wrote the unknown who made the wallet. "I thought you might want to get it back."
But there was something else to help soften the surprise.
"I've rounded your money up to $ 100 so you can celebrate the return of your wallet." Have fun. "
Shamatt said that he was so grateful for the gesture.
"It really meant that he would do everything possible and would do it for a complete stranger," Shamatt said. "I still pay school loans and I have truck loans to pay, so it really helps … I think it shows that there is more good than bad, because that's He was just a random guy on the street, which shows that there are still good people. "
Having only one address back in Omaha and the initials of the man, the family was able to find the mysterious man.
Shamatt said that he was able to thank the stranger for his kindness.
