EXCLUSIVE

14h00 PT – The plea agreement has just been unveiled in court, and Suge will have 28 years in prison after arguing unchallenged about a murder. The 53-year-old man will receive a credit for the time spent – he is in jail awaiting trial for about three and a half years. He will also be on parole for three years after serving his prison sentence.

Suge's sentence is more severe than a voluntary intentional homicide because he had already been convicted of felony in 1997. He was also sentenced to five more years because Carter's murder was considered a "serious and violent" crime. He had an extra year because his truck was a deadly weapon.

Knight broke a joke … sort of. Part of the judge's instructions to the accused include a sentence on the possibility of deportation following a conviction, to which Suge said, "So, ICE can pick me up." There was a little laugh.

Suge Knight has reached an agreement in his murder case … TMZ has learned.

Several sources tell us that the former executive of Death Row Records will be Thursday afternoon in the Los Angeles County Superior Court to plead the murder of Terry Carter. Knight had been confronted with the possibility of life in prison, and his trial had to starts on monday with selection of the jury.

We broke the story … Suge ran on Terry in January 2015, he fled the Tam & # 39; s Burgers parking lot in Compton. TMZ published the surveillance video it showed that Chevalier had thrown his truck backwards, knocked over a man, and then led to Terry … killing him.

Knight had claimed that he was not trying to overthrow one of the men that he was hitting – but was simply trying to escape because he thought the two men were about to shoot him down.

Suge was arrested shortly after the incident and has been in jail ever since, pending a trial.
