HOUSTON – The superintendent of the independent school district of Onalaska has resigned as a result of a comment he made on Houston Texans quarterback, Deshaun Watson.
The Onalaska ISD Board of Directors accepted Saturday morning the resignation letter from Lynn Redden.
The resignation of Redden is effective at 23:59 Saturday.
In his resignation letter addressed to Chairman of the Board, Ted Wiggins, Redden apologized to the board of directors, staff, students and patrons of the school, as well as To Watson.
