Another image shows a man heading west on Southgate Boulevard and Travis Street shortly after the deadly shootout.

The images come one day after the police published a sketch of a man that they believe to be the shooter. The authorities are also offering a $ 5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The 65-year-old doctor was going to Texas Medical Center when he was was shot at least twice at 9 am Friday morning, police said. Hausknecht fell to the ground immediately as the gunman fled the scene on a light-colored mountain bike, the police said.

Witnesses told the police that the shooter was a clean-shaven man, about 30 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a gray warming jacket and khaki shorts on the morning of the shooting.

"It's a crime that makes no sense," said Saturday the Houston police chief, Art Acevedo. "We do not even have a motive yet."

Hausknecht was a well-known doctor who had practiced medicine for almost 40 years. He specializes in cardiovascular disease, said Marc Boom, president and CEO of the Houston Methodist Hospital.

Neal Kleiman, who was a close friend of Hausknecht and worked at Houston Methodist Hospital, told "FOX & Friends" on Sunday that the cardiologist was "in many ways a model."

"Emotionally it's a very difficult thing to handle.I think we all know this in the medical community.And it's completely … unannounced.The medical center is generally considered an almost protected environment, "Kleiman said of Hausknecht's death.

In 2000, Hausknecht treated Bush for an irregular heartbeat. Bush said in a statement that Hausknecht was a "fantastic cardiologist and a good man."
