BOULDER – A suspect is in custody following a hostage at a hair salon in Boulder, according to a spokesman for the police department.

A woman was held hostage in Hair Rage International, which resulted in the evacuation of a nearby mall, according to a tweet from the Boulder Police.

Shortly after 12:30, the suspect walked out of the living room and went to the police. Earlier, Boulder Police spokeswoman Shannon Aulabaugh said that the hostage did not need any kind of medical care and that the police had been in contact with him. the woman by phone.
