Three people were found shot dead in an Ardmore house this afternoon, and the man suspected of the killings later committed suicide, according to authorities.
The bodies of three adults were found around 2 pm Sunday at a house on 27000 block of Pinedale Road, said the Limestone County Sheriff's Office. The names of the victims have not yet been disclosed.
They all succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, reportedly of a rifle, said Sheriff's spokesman Stephen Young
. later shot and killed himself near his home on Cook Road in nearby Madison County.
Brazier was the ex-husband of one of the victims, Young said. After discovering the corpses, authorities began searching for a red-silvered 1997 Ford F-250, which is believed to be driven by Brazier. The vehicle was found in northern Madison County on the road to Macedonia at his father's house, authorities said.
Later in the afternoon, Lieutenant Donny Shaw stated that the authorities had searched the Macedonia area. The investigators are at 27734 Pinedale Road, Limestone County, where three people were found shot dead on Sunday, July 1, 2018.
At approximately 8:20 pm, the Limestone County Sheriff's Office announced that Brazier was dead.
The SWAT team from Madison County found Brazier's body, Shaw said. The team was conducting a search near the man's home, based on information collected by Limestone County MPs
"The SWAT team thought they were getting shots Shaw says, but they soon found Brazier's body near him. None of the deputies were injured.
Deadly shootings today bring to six the number of homicide victims in Limestone County in 2018.
Five people have been killed in the past three days. Two people were shot dead Friday in a house on Airfield Street in Athens. A man died on the scene; the second man was declared dead at the Huntsville Hospital
