The Three Musketeers have nothing on these guys.
A trio of employees brandishing a sword at Ashok Jewelers in Ontario, Canada has resisted an alleged attempt to fly in broad daylight, CBC reported.
The surveillance sequence for the November 21 incident showed four men driving to the store in SUVs and breaking one of the shop windows with a mass.
One of the thieves tries to break the window, but he runs away after being confronted by three employees with sword-type swords.
"When we saw them arrive, it was when we really acted and we pressed them," said Arjun Kumar, whose father is the owner of the store.
One of the intruders reportedly had a gun, according to Kumar.
"I was ready to do anything to prevent them from entering. Even if it meant that I was being shot, not a problem, "he added.
Kumar said the swords were gifts from a family friend. "We were lucky," he said.
No suspects or employees were injured and no property was stolen during the incident, police said. But the police Const. Danny Marttini said people should think twice before putting the property before security.
"It could easily have turned into a completely different situation. We could have seen many people injured, "she told Global News.
