The hottest sauce package from Taco Bell is now available as tortilla chips.

The fast food chain announced Monday that its new limited edition Diablo Tortilla tokens are exclusively available at participating 7-Eleven stores across the country until October 31st. They will then be distributed in grocery stores and convenience stores until November.

The new flavor is the fourth of Taco Bell's tortilla chips line, launched in May. The other three flavors – classic, sweet and hot – are sold in grocery stores and convenience stores.

The company's "iconic sauce packages" have been the original inspiration for chips, said Marisa Thalberg, brand manager at Taco Bell, in a statement.

"The new Diablo Tortilla chips are inspired by this inspiration, allowing us to serve our hottest chip, but totally unique to Taco Bell, from its dark and smoky packaging to delicious flavors, to the flavor of the chip itself. same, "said Thalberg.

According to the company, chips are distinguished from the competition by being black and not red. They present the distinct flavors of the Diablo sauce package with "a punch of peppers and a hint of lime".

Jack Stout, Executive Vice President of 7-Eleven Merchandising, said the chain of convenience store customers were adventurous and "looking for new taste sensations and unusual flavor combinations."

"If they thought that the 7-Eleven Taco Bell flavor chips introduced earlier were something, just wait for the Diablo spice to arrive in the store," Stout said in a statement. "A Slurpee ice-cold drink may be needed to extinguish the fire."

These limited edition chips are offered in 3.5 ounce bags and Taco Bell did not release the price, explaining that it would be settled by the stores. The fries are vegan, kosher and gluten free.

Yum Brands' Mexican fast-food branch, based in Louisville, also offers a range of Kraft-wrapped products, including lunch kits, crunchy taco shells, hot bottled sauces and beans. Yum owns Pizza Hut and KFC.
