This turbulence started on the ground.
Actress Tara Reid on Monday received a Delta Air Lines flight for causing what the airline has described as "customer trouble," USA Today reported.
A representative of the star of "Sharknado" confirmed to the newspaper that Reid had been removed from the plane and had to leave Los Angeles for New York. The robbery was delayed on the track because Reid was "furious" at not having the right seat and not getting a pillow, reported TMZ.
She complained "loudly" while the crew tried unsuccessfully to appease her, witnesses told the entertainment site.
A video obtained by TMZ shows an air hostess talking to Reid about getting her luggage before she walks down the driveway with her dog.
The police were not called and Reid took another flight, USA Today reported.
"The Delta 613 flight between Los Angeles and New York, JFK-International returned to the gate before take-off due to a customer disruption on board," said a Delta spokesman in a press release, by People. "Delta apologizes to the remaining customers for the inconvenience and appreciates their patience as the situation was resolved … The flight was redeemed for New York after a short delay."
The "side of history" of the "American Pie" alum is that she was unhappy not to sit at the window and a woman was lying in front of her, she writes.
Yahoo noted that the incident had provoked a strange response from Linda Hogan, a former reality TV star ex-wife of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Reid expressed her concerns during an interview in August in which she seemed to have scrambled her speech.
A representative from Reid did not immediately respond to HuffPost's request for comment.
