Taron Egerton is very nervous in his first look at Elton John in the upcoming movie, Rocketman.
the Kingsman: the circle of gold The 28-year-old actor plays the iconic 71-year-old singer in the biopic that runs through John's life. The film is designed as a musical with John's songs serving to capture the moments in the singer's path to fame.

Although this is the first official appearance of Egerton under the name of John, the actor has been filmed in London in recent weeks with Jamie Bell, the British musician and the long-time collaborator of John, Bernie Taupin . The two men were dressed in the bright colors of the 70s fashion, Egerton wore a light brown velvet jacket over a salmon shirt and orange blood pants.

The entire outfit featured strong vertical lines with the exception of the tie, which had a floral pattern with autumn colors. Egerton was also seen wearing John's signature glasses.
The filming began at the end of June, with Egerton teasing one of his costumes with a picture of his shadow.
"And that's gone," Egerton wrote next to the silhouette of two giant feathered wings.
The film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Richard Madden and is scheduled for release on May 31, 2019.
