Sabrina Spellman has a 16 not so good!
On Thursday, Netflix released the first teaser of its next series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The 40-second teaser, starring Kiernan Shipka as the teenage witch, gives fans their first look at the series, which is that of the creators of Riverdale and said to be in vain to Rosemary's Baby and L & # 39; Exorcist.
With a mesmerizing rendition of "Happy Birthday" in the background, blood-red candles are lit in honor of Sabrina's 16th birthday in the first seconds of the teaser.
Incorporating images of the city of Sabrina, including the morgue and her school, there are quick flashes of monsters that set up what will surely be a bad idea of the beloved character. There is also a party scene with unusual guests as well as a scorching kiss and super scary pictures.
The teaser ends with Sabrina smiling strangely directly at the camera while she blows out the candles on her cake.
The series will show the teenager the struggle to reconcile her dual nature – half-witch, half-mortal – while fighting against the evil forces that threaten her, threaten her family and the world of light in which humans live. .
These are the first images of the highly anticipated series, although the first photos were released last month in addition to a poster in July. Fans also had a glimpse of Sabrina's love affair – played by Ross Lynch – last April.
In March, ET joined Lynch, 22, where he told what he was looking forward to the show.
"I really believed in this project, and I'm happy to say that until now my expectations have been exceeded," Lynch said at the time. "Just the aesthetics of everything and the actors who were cast and Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa], the showrunner, all the visions come together and they are effective. "
The show is scheduled to air on Netflix on October 26th. In the meantime, here is another ET interview with Lynch:
