After a few months of dating, the "For You I Will" singer, 29, and "Schitt's Creek" Emily Hampshire star, announced in a series of
"YES YES … YES YES! YES … YES ONLY YES YES YES YES YES YES YES I'LL LOVE U @EMILYHAMPSHIRT," Geiger wrote along with photos of her in bed showing off her engagement ring.
Posting a similar batch of photos, Hampshire, 37, wrote, "#shesaidyes ?? … & she cried, then she made a video, then she posted it on her. My millennial girlfriend is now my millennial #fiance & I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. ?❤️ "
A rep for the actress confirmed to Page Six in September that the two were an item after posting on each other on social media.
"I love her so much and miss her so much, so much so that she is so cute when she dances and she is my dream and and goodnight," -to-be, in September.
Geiger announced on Instagram in 2017 that she was transitioning from male to female. She said she was transgender while in therapy in an interview with the New York Times in July.
"I threw away all my boys clothes and started wearing makeup," she said.
