A subsequent statement from the FIA revealed that the Sho Tsuboi pilot, two members of the media and the marshal had also been "transferred to a local hospital in a conscious state for further evaluation".

Floersch then herself consulted Twitter to take stock of her condition, declaring herself remarkably "good" afterwards.
"I just wanted everyone to know that I'm fine but that I will have surgery tomorrow morning," she said.
