Santiago Solari had the win in his first Liga match against Real Madrid, but he thanked Vinicius Junior, 18, for his 2-0 win over Real Valladolid on Saturday.

Solari launched Vinicius with a goalless draw and growing tension at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the striker delivered the ball, before Sergio Ramos' penalty kicked it off at the last minute.

The opening of the score in the 83rd minute was a goal against his side, deflected by Kiko Olivas, but pushed by Vinicius' thrill, the kind of exuberant Madrid attack did not have as many d & rsquo; Attack in recent weeks.

Vinicius celebrated the event by running on the bench and hugging Solari in his arms. He knows the young person better than anyone at the club, having managed it with Castilla this season.

Naturally, Julen Lopetegui had decided that Team B Madrid was the best place where Vinicius could settle, but with all the missed opportunities, the reputation of the boy grew.

Flamengo's signing, worth 40 million euros, began when Madrid defeated Melilla at the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, but they were third-tier opponents in Spain. This was Solari's first proper test.

Lopetegui had also repeatedly regretted a lack of luck during his bad period and even that seemed to turn in favor of Solari. Vinicius' shot hit Olivas between Valladolid and the crossbar and Karim Benzema was sentenced to a late penalty.

"When the ball does not come in, you have to stay calm," said Ramos. "You have to ignore the created uncertainty. Finally, we have a positive result for our trust."

There were whistles at the half-time crowd at home, and during the second half too, but cheers, maybe relief, in the end.

Gareth Bale was not on the pitch to hear them after his replacement in the 71st minute, the team still seeking a goal.

Madrid, however, is heading to Wednesday's Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen with their first win in six league games, as well as their increased self-confidence and the boost of their strengthened coach.

"It's an experience group, not a group of kids," Solari said. "They ended up too."

His team had started well. Their best chance of the first period came in the third minute, Marco Asensio slipping into Karim Benzema, who was trailing his head far away from the post.

Basel, Casemiro and Benzema all went with the headers but Valladolid survived. Then, while Madrid was erasing, they took control.

Antonito was cleared but his goal went over Thibaut Courtois and the crossbar. Enes Unal was pinched by Nacho, but his trajectory was six meters.

Real's players whistled and came back whistling on either side of the half, but the hosts got a boost after the restart.

In the space of a minute, Benzema 's shot was blocked by Fernando Calero' s belly, Casemiro was repulsed and Bale missed a new header.

Once again, Valladolid survived and once again, they came back in force. They hit the crossbar twice. Ruben Alcaraz's efforts were scored but Toni Villa let it shudder. Madrid was trembling too.

For the second race weekend, Bale came out when his team needed a goal. Isco and Vinicius came, the latter to an explosion of cheers.

The expectation of the teenager was great, but he responded by tearing the left and releasing a shot. She cruelly deflected Olivas and slipped into the corner.

With the tension lifted, Madrid was assured in the 88th minute of the arrival of Benzema. Ramos scored the penalty in the center to seal the win.

Antoine Griezmann scored a brilliant free kick, but Atletico Madrid missed his chance to take the lead after a 1-1 draw against Leganes.

Griezmann's efforts in the second half seemed to have to prove the difference of a goal limited to Butarque, but equalizing in the 82nd minute of Guido Carrillo earned Leganes a deserved point.

Atletico could have moved over Barcelona for at least a few hours, but Diego Simeone's team remains one point behind championship leaders, who will face Rayo Vallecano later on Saturday. The Leganes remain 18th and without a win in five games.

"We played more and wanted more but we have to settle for one point," Simeone said.

"The feeling is bittersweet," added Saul Niguez. "We know it's in these games that the league is decided.Leganes played a great first half, but we have to be more ambitious and we should have won."

Santiago Solari (D) guided Real Madrid to a well-deserved victory in their first league match, while Vinicius Junior (G) had a positive impact.
