Gia, who is in high school, was in class when she was informed by her uncle, Joe Gorga, of the deportation ordered by her father.
"At first, I was pretty bored," admits Teresa about her brother spilling the beans.
"He apologized right away. He said, "I'm sorry," recalls Teresa, who thought about the time: "Just wait until you speak to me before calling my child."

After 17-year-old Gia heard the news, she immediately called the Real housewives from New Jersey star.
"Mom, what happened?" And then I told him, "Teresa said about their conversation, and then she left school, she did not want to be in school anymore.
Teresa then informed her daughters Gabriella, 14, and Milania, 12, but still had not told 9-year-old Audriana. "She's too young," she says of her youngest child.
"Adults can handle just about anything. Adults can bear it because they are fat. That's why we are adults. We can deal with it. But who would affect the most? It's the kids, "says Teresa. "And that's unfortunate because children are affected. It's very sad because they are experiencing all this grief, but it's not even their fault. You know? They are the ones who hurt the most. "

Joe, 46, is currently serving a 41-month jail sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud that began in March 2016. He is expected to be released in March 2019.
The family is seeking to appeal the judge's decision in the hope that Joe will return home to New Jersey after spending time behind bars.
"I take it day after day. Yes, it does not matter what we have to do. Whatever the lawyers tell me. No matter what they tell me, that's what I do. You know, we're going to fight that, "says Teresa.
She adds of her daughters: "They know we will fight. They know that mom does everything she can.
"They know I'm doing everything I can," the star adds. "So that's all, that's all I can do.
