Terry Crews shares the excuses letter from the agent that he has accused of sexual assault

Terry Crews on Friday shared a letter of apology from Adam Venit, the former WME agent Crews accused last year of fumbling at a party in 2016.

Crews said on Twitter that he had received Venit's letter in March, but waited to publicly accept Venit's apology until he resigned from WME. Venit announced earlier this month that he would resign from the agency.

Venit did not admit Crews allegation of fumbling in the letter, but he accepted some "responsibilities".

Venit wrote: "I know you have not asked for it, again I am responsible for our presence here together in this situation, I am sorry for all that."

"I want to use this moment to have a positive influence on you and not just another Hollywood story that becomes the story of what we are both in. We both have a lot more to offer," wrote Venit. "I even hope that one day we will be able to come together and move forward with compassion and understanding and be an incredible force for positivity and change in our culture."

Crews filed a lawsuit against Venit last year after he was charged with sexual misconduct in November. The trial was settled at the beginning of the month, which coincided with Venit's announcement of his resignation from WME.
