Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, has no tolerance for anything boring.

Many Tesla owners are adopting the same idea with regard to custom registration plates for their electric cars and SUVs.

Playing Tesla's notoriety on the electric vehicle market, these license plates make fun of gas cars and deceive their own respect for the environment Some labels question the dependence on oil through to a clever word game. Tesla could use a lig hter moment. He had a 2018 filled with ups and downs. In May, Consumer Reports did not recommend the Electric Vehicle Giant's Model 3, its first car for traditional buyers, partly because of the long stopping distances, to see the magazine releasing the software to the cars that improved them. Last month, Tesla dominated a list of best-selling electric vehicles in the United States, selling three of the five most popular cars. And this week, Tesla announced that it had reached Musk's goal of making 5,000 model 3 vehicles.

Here's a collection of tweets showing some of the most creative Tesla plates:

Douglas Kass, founder and president of hedge The fund's sponsor, Seabreeze Partners Management, Inc., spotted a plate that turned a standoffish response into a clever pun.

Meanwhile, Heather Long, Washington Post Economics correspondent, spotted a car mocking the dominant energy supply. José María Figueres, the former president of Costa Rica from 1994 to 1998, joined the pleasure by noting a design with a more explicit message.

A Twitter user took a picture of a license plate making a word unit of measure for electricity

And another Twitter user noticed a car that made a prediction on the future of gasoline cars.
