A weekend filled with upheavals, some of which were more surprising than others, has almost completely reshaped the Amway Coaches poll. Seven unclassified teams last week joined the top 25, although the reshuffle had only a minor impact on the top rungs.

The top four teams remain unchanged, with Alabama maintaining a strong lead. Crimson Tide, who was on holiday this weekend, again won 61 of 64 first-place votes. Clemson, second in the standings, retains the top three remaining spots after a decisive victory on the road at Florida State.

Undefeated, Notre Dame remains in 3rd place after defeating the Navy. LSU, who also bids farewell to Alabama, remains in fourth place. Georgia, in the wake of its victory against rival Florida, placed fifth for Michigan. Oklahoma, Ohio State, Central Florida and West Virginia round out the top 10.

Store: Utah. The Utes were the main beneficiaries of the chaos, making the biggest move of the week with an eight-place jump to 16th.

TOP 25: Amway Coaches Survey

Low stock: Texas. The Longhorns, the highest rank of victims of anger, fall from eight places to No. 15.

Store: Washington state. The Cougars climb four positions to reach number 11 of the season.

Low stock: Florida. The Gators lost only three places in 14th place after losing to Georgia, but their title hopes for the SEC will have to wait at least a year.

Store: Penn State. For what it's worth, the Nittany Lions are now the highest rated teams in two defeats. They win three positions at No. 13 after surviving against No. 18 Iowa.

Low stock: Washington. The Huskies lost six places to 19th after losing to California.

New Kids On The Block: No. 17 Houston, No. 19 State of Utah, No. 21 State of Mississippi, No. 22 Virginia, No. 23 Fresno State, No. 24 Syracuse, No. 25 Boston College.

College dropouts: Texas A & M, Wisconsin, South Florida, Oregon, North Carolina, Stanford, Miami.
