TARRANT COUNTY, Texas –

A Texas man who used to operate a miniature train and was accused of molesting 12 children was killed in jail by a fellow inmate.

Dallas Morning News reported 76-year-old Clinton Don Simpson was taken to a hospital Wednesday where he died of homicide blunt force injuries to the head. Jail records show Simpson's fellow inmate 42-year-old David Flores Faustino, was charged with murder.

Simpson owned Mr. Don's Whistle Stop, a miniature train set which he operated in his backyard. He was also a preacher.

A dozen children accused Simpson and he faced 10 counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, 1 count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and 2 counts of indecency by fondling.

Flores, who had been arrested on a charge of injury to a child, aged or disabled, was $ 50,000.
