Texas Tech fans married to midfielder at halftime of West Virginia match

No fall wedding unless your fall wedding takes place at the halftime of a football match.

A theme popular among academic and professional football fans in recent years is the theme of the lack of wedding in the fall that would take us away from our precious football games. But what happens if the autumn weddings do not leave you at all?

That's what happened during the Texas Tech game against West Virginia on Saturday afternoon.

A couple was married in the midfield at the half-time of the Red Raiders match, which turned out to be the highlight of the day as Kliff Kingsbury lost to the Mountaineers.

The wedding was sweet with the mascot of the Red Raiders who walked the bride in the alley, wandering, on the sidelines.

I must give a hat to the newlyweds to have a wedding that they will certainly never forget and their bridal party will never forget. The only drawback was that Texas Tech could not complete his comeback against his 12 biggest opponents.

But more importantly, in addition to all that concerns love, which is to spend the rest of your life on each other for the richest or the poorest in health and illness, the couple found a loophole in life without a wedding in the fall.

Now, I hope we will see more half marriages of college football and other sporting events. Instead of packing all your friends and family in the church, imagine how much fun it would be to invite 100,000 of your closest friends to the ceremony?

And the best part is that you would not have to pay the bill for the open bar for all those people either.

Seriously, I only wish the best for the newlyweds and hope that they will be able to come back to renew their vows in 10 years or so and organize another party in the middle of the field.
