The Oklahoma Sooners # 7 host the No. 19 Longhorns of Texas in one of Saturday's first contests, from 12pm ET on FOX (live broadcast via FuboTV, FOX Sports GO). This will be another chapter in the Red River rivalry, but Oklahoma, unbeaten at 5-0, is favored.
The rivalry of the Red River is one of the oldest and richest rivalries in all sports. On the football field, Texas is leading the all-time series, 61-46-5. Oklahoma took a 29-24 win at their last meeting last year. They also won the previous year, but Texas managed to win in 2015.
Oklahoma has five wins, but they have not faced a ranked opponent this season yet. Texas is one of three opponents of this type on the program of the season. After a defeat against Maryland early in the season, Texas straightened the boat and won big wins against no. 22 USC and then-No. 17 TCU. More recently, they have gone against Kansas State, but have emerged victorious.
