Uh oh.
Do not worry, grocery stores are open in the Washington area for last-minute Thanksgiving dinners on Thursday, November 22.
Here's what's open:
- Balducci: Open until 4pm Hours may vary slightly from one store to another. Find a store. Balducci will even respond to your Thanksgiving meal.
- Fresh market: Open until 3 pm Check your local store for specific times.
- Giant: Giant says buyers should call their local store at specific times as they will vary on Thanksgiving day. For example, the giant in Wisconsin Avenue. near Cathedral Commons will be open until 17h. but the giant on Park Road at Columbia Heights will be open 24 hours. Last year, the 10400 Old Georgetown Rd. Stores in Bethesda, Maryland, and the 6223 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville, Maryland, were open 24 hours a day and stayed there during Thanksgiving. - Harris Teeter: Open until 2 pm Find stores. You can also order your dinner for online pickup.
- Kroger: Kroger stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but times will vary so call in advance. Find a store.
