Thanksgiving Day Parade 2018: What time to look and who has the best training

As always, there are many parade options to watch on Thanksgiving morning – and each offers something a little different. Here is a complete overview, although it's worth noting that only one parade will feature Gritty, known by some as the greatest sports mascot of our time.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (NBC)

When: 9 am to noon, Eastern time

Or: New York City

hosts: Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker from the "Today" show.

Performers: Kelly Clarkson, Rita Ora, Barenaked Ladies, Pentatonix, Kane Brown, Sugarland, Ashley Tisdale, Leona Lewis, Legend John, Carly Pearce, Martina McBride, Ella Mai, Marie Tegan, Bazzi, Ally Brooke, Bad Bunny, Anime Noni Rose, Mackenzie Ziegler and more. In addition, Diana Ross with her children and extended family: Tracee Ellis Ross, Rhonda Ross, Ross Chudney, Ross Naess and Evan Ross, with his wife Ashlee Simpson.

Extras: Performances of some of Broadway's best shows will occur outside of Macy's, and Rockettes will make their annual appearance.

Thanksgiving parade (CBS)

When: 9 am to noon, Eastern time

Or: New York City

hosts: Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight of Entertainment Tonight.

Performances: The castings of Broadway musicals "Dear Evan Hansen" and "King Kong".

Extras: The stars of the CBS dramas (Erich Bergen "Madam Secretary", Joe Regalbuto "Murphy Brown", Sela Ward "FBI") will stop to discuss.

6ABC Dunkin 'Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade (ABC in some areas)

When: 8:30 am to noon, Eastern time

Or: Philadelphia cream

Performances: Many local theatrical productions, from "Anastasia" to "Miss Saigon", as well as choirs and dance groups.

Extras: Rapper Doug E. Fresh, Ginger Zee of "Good Morning America's", Nia Franklin of Miss America 2019 and alumni of "American Idol" Justin Guarini, Michael J. Woodard and Catie Turner. Do not forget Philly's most famous celebrity: Gritty.

Thanksgiving day parade by Uncle Dan (WGN, live broadcast here)

When: 9 am to noon, Eastern time

Where: Chicago

Performers: Expect a lot of fanfares and local acts.
