After the wedding reception in Bangalore, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, newlyweds, will now focus on upcoming receptions in Mumbai, which will take place on November 28 and December 1. A new report reveals that the couple offered elegant gifts to their guests.
Times Now reports that Deepika and Ranveer have offered their guests silver photo frames as a starter. It is not clear whether these gifts were intended for wedding guests – who were limited to close friends and family – or those attending the reception in Bengaluru.
The frames of the photo frames were shared online by the manufacturer. The photo of Ranveer and Deepika is only for the purpose of representation.
The couple were married at a secret ceremony on 14 and 15 November at Lake Como, Italy, in the presence of their close friends and family. Due to the increased security, very few pictures were disclosed of the place. However, on their return to India, the couple shares an online wedding album. The photos of their two wedding ceremonies – Konkani and Anand Karaj – were taken by Errikos Andreou.
Deepika and Ranveer then headed to her hometown, Bengaluru, where a reception was held on November 21st. Guests included his father, Prakash Padukone's friends, athletes such as Olympians PV Sindhu and Abhinav Bindra, former cricketer Anil Kumble, and businessmen like Nandan Nilekani and Kiran Mazumder Shaw.
The couple will now hold a second and third reception for the media and their industry friends, respectively. The November 28 reception will conflict with the wedding festivities of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who are marrying at Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur on December 2 and 3, again at two separate ceremonies. Nick arrived in India on Thursday, where he was greeted by Priyanka.
