Police said that there was no indication that the stabbing was a hate crime. The FBI is participating in the investigation.
"The horrible attack of last night does not represent Boise," tweeted Mayor Dave Bieter. "Please join me in praying for the wounded and their families, we must unite to condemn this despicable act."

Police responded to a call from a man with a knife at 8:46 pm and arrived at the apartment complex four minutes later, said Bones
"The police located the suspect almost immediately and arrested the suspect under the threat of a weapon," he said.
