The Veon Bell returns to the Steelers.
Finally.
The star of the run plans to return to the Steelers in Week 7 for the team, according to a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Citing unnamed sources, Fowler said Bell "definitely plans to play football for the Steelers this season".
The 'Veon Bell' expects to report to the Steelers during week 7, said a source @ESPN. Bell plans to play football with the Steelers this season.

"It's bad to have to sit down to football," Bell told Fowler by phone on Monday. "I want to play, I want to win games and playoffs."
"But I have to take this position, knowing my merits and knowing that I could tear a ligament or have surgery at any time, I knew I could not play 16 games with 400 or more hits."
The absence of the halfback has been talking about the NFL for weeks because Bell and his team are at odds over a long-term contract.
According to Fowler's report, this situation has not been resolved yet, but Bell still hopes the team will have it signed again for a long-term contract once its franchise label is ready.
If the former Michigan State player turns up at Week 7, he will miss the Steelers games against Atlanta on October 7 and Cincinnati on October 14. He would be back in time for the team's home game against Cleveland Browns on Oct. 28.
Back-half James Conner did a fair job, replacing Bell, but the offense was sometimes unbalanced without his All-Pro breaking.
Conner had only 19 rushing yards in the defeat against the Ravens in Week 4 of the Steelers and only 17 yards in the loss to Kansas City in the second week. Bell's return would certainly give the game a boost, but Pittsburgh is still listening to commercial offers for him, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Pittsburgh should always be interested in the commercial offers of RB's & Veon Bell, by source. Bell's plans to report later this month will not deter the Steelers from reaching a meaningful deal.
