ADORABLE photographs taken on the occasion of Prince Charles's 70th birthday show the close connection he shares with his grandson Louis.

Grandpa Charles has a smile on his face when he rocks Louis in the Clarence House Gardens, reports The Sun.

A cliché featuring the Prince of Wales with his family also shows the shameless Louis who shakes his grandfather's face as they try to pose.

The selection of images includes Charles at Highgrove feeding his esteemed chickens Burford Brown and Marans.

He picks up their eggs every morning in his boots and the chickens obediently follow him, ready for their breakfast.

The images are part of a set to mark his 70th birthday last Wednesday.

Another picture shows Charles surrounded by his grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, sitting on her grandfather's lap, huddled against Camilla, while Prince Louis smiled in his mother's arms, while the queen and prince Philip were absent.

The family reunited for the photo, taken by photographer Chris Jackson, on a bench in Clarence House Gardens.

A photo shows him laughing with Harry and William in RAF ceremony attire.

Another picture shows him posing next to his beloved Aston Martin – which he converted to roll with wine instead of gasoline.

Last month, he said, "They discovered that they could use surplus English white wine, but I did not know they mixed whey either.

"Aston's engineers said," Oh, it's going to ruin everything. "

"I said," I would not drive it at that time, "so they got along and they now admit that the fuel is better and it's more powerful with that fuel than it is with the fuel.

"And also, it smells delicious while you drive."

The car is powered by a bioethanol fuel called E85, which can come from a variety of sources, including excess white wine, which is mixed with a small amount of gasoline.
