Actor Tim Hughes, a native of Brookfield, has made himself known on social networks after removing a Trump flag from a man who had interrupted the curtain 's call when he was on the run. a performance of "Frozen", the Broadway musical on Wednesday Sept. 5, in New York.

A person in the crowd at St. James Theater wearing a "Make America Great Again" visor opened a pro-Trump banner during the curtain call in an effort to attract public attention. The banner said "Trump 2020" on it.

While the actors took their bow, Hughes said he had noticed the banner and was upset by the lack of respect of the actors.

Hughes, who plays the character of Pabbie, is seen on video – apparently taken by a spectator in the audience and now goes around the social media – tearing the banner and throwing it on stage. Hughes and the rest of the cast then proceed to finish their bows.

Hughes said the man was angry and shouted at him when security escorted the man out of the building.

A Disney representative could not be contacted at this time.
