The Veon Bell should once again skip the Pittsburgh Steelers' training camp. Bell's agent, Adisa Bakari, confirmed Tuesday on SiriusXM NFL Radio that the half-offensive would follow the same routine as last season when he played on the franchise trophy: to pass the camp of 39 drive and show up before the first week.

Bell and the Steelers were unable to agree on a multi-year agreement before Monday's deadline for franchise players to find a long-term solution. Ian Rapoport, NFL network specialist, reported that the offended half had turned down a five-year offer worth $ 70 million, with more than $ 30 million over two seasons. Bell will play on a $ 14.5 million franchise offer for a year in 2018.

As the parties have not managed to hear Monday, speculation about the how Bell would handle the off-season started.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network noted that the team was expecting that without a new agreement, Bell will not pass the training camp.

In 2017, Bell reported on September 1st. He finished with 1,291 rushing yards in 321 runs and 85 receptions for 655 yards with 11 touchdowns in 15 games last season. It took Bell several times, however, to get up to speed after missing the entire training camp – rushing 52 times for 180 total yards and one touchdown in the first three weeks combined.

In a tweet published Monday, Bell promised that 2018 would be his "best season to date". It will have to start faster than last season to prove this statement.
