Eleven-year-old Adalia Rose lives in Texas, is a YouTube star and agrees that she is a "diva" – she also suffers from an illness that affects fewer than 500 people worldwide.
Her parents tell her that she was born different and "she owns him," says his mother, Natalia Pallante.
They say that she is like a whirlwind, stubborn, brave, crazy. And they do not try to scare him – or name his condition, progeria.
People with Progeria syndrome, or Hutchinson-Gilford syndrome, live on average around the age of 14. They are born healthy, but children age extremely quickly.

"We're not talking about life expectancy or any possibility of it could happen or it could happen to him – we live just day-to-day," says his father, Ryan.
Among all the curved balls thrown on the family, it was a surprise to raise a kid who is a social media star and who is recognized wherever he goes, he says.
For her part, Adalia is full of energy and life.

"I like to do makeup, I like to play Barbies, I like to play on my phone … definitely, definitely like to watch videos, I like to play with my brothers – but sometimes I'm a little grumpy, so I guess maybe not.
"Basically, I love everything."
It was surprising how fast her fame grew – she now has 14 million followers on Facebook and more than a million subscribers to Youtube.
"I really think it's fair to describe Adalia as a diva," Ryan says.
