It's been about five months since Avengers: Infinity War The hit movie theaters, Hulk's box office records, have reshaped the Marvel film universe (MCU), while retaining the same content, and have generally delighted audiences. With enough time to digest the ambitious epic of all this, we can continue to look forward to what will follow.
Before arriving at the always untitled Avengers 4 next year, Marvel fans have Captain Marvel to come, which could play an important role in advancing the MCU. After Avengers 4all bets are raised.
So, with so much trial and error between fans and critics, we thought we would compile all the major Avengers: Infinity War and beyond the theories in one convenient place.
You can thank us later.
So, without further ado, here are the Thanos size theories that float in the MCU, from least likely to most likely.
The supreme theory of the Iron Man and the Wizard
We thank ScreenRant for this one, which propels Wong completely in favor of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark / Iron Man, who will temporarily become the next Sorcerer Supreme.
Stark has the broad spirit to master the mystical arts and has now been introduced to the idea of witchcraft and alternative realities after meeting Stephen Strange of Benedict Cumberbatch and seeing over 14 million simulations possible of their conflict with Thanos. We still do not know exactly where Strange's levitation cape is, so it's possible that Stark finds her and begins to dive into the world of magic.
He is, after all, an egocentric futurist who tries to solve problems with complex and elaborate solutions without taking reprisals into account.

The theory of the resurrection of vision
According to Nerdist, it is possible that Paul Bettany's vision can be resurrected thanks to Letitia Wright's Shuri. As we saw in the film, poor Vision was killed not once but twice (it took at least two deaths to kill the bad taste of her languid romance with Scarlet Witch).
However, it is possible that Shuri could make a copy of Mind Stone before all hell breaks loose. Or, at the very least, downloaded enough Vision to be able to restart it without Stone later. Resurrecting Vision could be one of the many ruptures of Thanos' universal equilibrium, bringing him back to Avengers 4.

The World Breaker Hulk Theory
Does Hulk go to redemption in Avengers 4?
The popular YouTube and Marvel superfan Webhead, who has become an online favorite through his in-depth theories, recently released a new series of speculations implying further development of Bruce Banner's alter-ego following the events of War of infinity.
After suffering a violent beating of the Mad Titan Thanos, Hulk refused to emerge when Banner, of Mark Ruffalo, called him in the last blockbuster. Could this be put in place Avengers 4 include an evolution World Hulk Breaker?
For those who do not know it, World Breaker Hulk was the most powerful version of the giant monster of green rage that we have ever seen. As his name indicates, he had the ability to destroy the planets with one punch. By introducing him Avengers 4 level the playing field against Thanos and compensate for his lack of screentim in War of infinity.
As Webhead speculates:
"I would not be surprised if Marvel put this character on the screen. They usually produce a version of these characters less powerful than [their comic book counterparts]because Hulk can literally destroy worlds with one punch. It is there that Hulk is the most powerful. It shines all green and becomes extremely enraged, destroying everything in its path.
World Breaker Hulk was considered the most powerful avenger of the source material and seems to be the next logical step, especially after Stormbreaker was given to Thor to increase his power. (Side note: Stormbreaker actually cancels out all the "in you" character development we see in Thor: Ragnarokbut it's a post for another time).
Webhead continues:
"[It is] a bit like what we saw in Infinity War, when they gave Thor his new hammer. We have seen in Ragnarok that Thor had really become the god of thunder even without [Mjolnir]. And then in War of infinitywhen he had the Stormbreaker, he really became the almighty god. And I feel we're going to see that with Hulk in Avengers 4. We could not see a lot of Hulk during Infinity War, and I think we'll see a very different Hulk. Especially because they always use this joke that Hulk is the strongest Avenger and [after Infinity War] he really needs to step up his game to do better than Thor.

The theory of quantum realms
SlashFilm deepens this theory, which suggests that Ant-Man and the wasp will take us back to the quantum realm, briefly seen in the original The ant man, where time and space do not work according to conventional laws. The two characters will be looking for Janet van Dyne (mother of Hope) Michelle Pfeiffer, who was trapped a few years ago.
The theory is that these heroes will emerge from the quantum realm at the conclusion of War of infinity and find themselves in a modified reality in which the lost heroes have been forgotten or never existed. As they are the only ones to have memories of the "prime" timeline, they will have to deal with the quirky aspects of Quantim Realm to redefine reality.
The discovery of doors to alternative universes within the kingdom – which could possibly house Captain Marvel – would play a role in this regard.
Ant-Man and his team would provide the Avengers with Quantum Realm technology so that they could enter alternative universes / timelines where some MCU events have not yet occurred (more on this). This is one of the ways that they could intercept the Infinity Stones before Thanos does not pose their purple hands or create their own Infinity Gauntlet to fight it (more about it in a little bit). more). Avengers 4 would have been entitled "Infinity Gauntlet".
Trippy, we know.

The Who's Not a Skrull Theory
In 2017, Marvel confirmed the speculation by announcing that Brie Larson Captain Marvel would indeed present the extraterrestrial "metamorphs" known as "Skrulls", setting up a possible adaptation of the scenario of the beloved comic strip Secret invasion.
For moviegoers who have not yet touched the source material, Secret invasion Turned around a takeover of the Earth by Skrull, as it was revealed that many politicians, business people and even key heroes of the Avengers list were actually disguised Skrulls. We have long believed that Avengers 4 could also play a role in setting up this scenario for future use in the MCU. As such, fans have spent a lot of time speculating on heroes who can be alien aliens.
But let's go back to this thought and start eliminating which, in our opinion, is not a disguised Skrull. To do this, just take a look at the medical history of certain characters.
In comics, the Skrulls naturally have a physiology different from that of humans: their blood is green after all. This is likely to disqualify Nick Fury, Hawkeye and War Machine as Skrulls, as all three have received extensive reviews in recent MCU entries. In The Winter SoldierFury was under the careful observation of several doctors after the assassination attempt of his life. In Avengers: the era of UltronHelen Cho gave Hawkeye one more time after her injury. And in Civil warRhodey receives an MRI after his spinal injury. Any extraterrestrial anatomy would have been revealed during these detailed checks.
Of course, movies could easily change this to facilitate tracing, but for now, it's the best guess to use.

The sacrificial gauntlet theory
Since the stakes have begun to warm The Winter SoldierFans have predicted that Chris Evans's Steve Rogers / Captain America would sacrifice himself for the greater good, with one of his buddies taking over (it's totally Bucky).
This theory adds a little context to this potential sacrifice, with Vanity Fair speculating that the old Cappie would trade his life so that Stark could handle the gauntlet of Infinity. As we have seen with Thanos and Gamora, the soulstone requires a sacrifice from a loved one to be able to be used. How to better fix the broken barriers between these two characters defining MCU in Civil war that with Captain America showing how much he really cares about Tony?
Good guys have used an Infinity Gauntlet once or twice in comics and even though the MCU takes a lot of creative liberties, it seems to be something they've put together for a while. Cap's ability to exercise great power has been a talking point since he nudged Thor Age of Ultron. Something big must happen here.
The phrase "we do not trade lives" is launched a few times War of infinity. The heroes who disappeared were greener Avengers and many originals got along well. In Avengers 4there could be a compromise of life; a soul for a soul.

The theory of time travel
Most of us assume that some kind of time travel deception will be used to resurrect many of the missing heroes in the world. War of infinity. Squawk whatever you want Marvel, but you do not leave billions of dollars on the table by not making suites at Black Panther or Spider-Man: Homecoming.
But this is not the only use of time travel that could be on the table.
* Spoiler warning possible for Avengers 4 *
Pictures of the upcoming series in older costumes and in familiar places, such as the Battle of New York from 2012. The Avengers.
Disney CEO Bob Iger even said that "royalty" would be explored in the MCU capper: "They can be separated geographically or separated in time, not just in place, but in time. There is almost – it is not quite infinite, but the directions we could take are extraordinary.
Are we going to revisit some key moments in the history of the MCU?

The time stone theory
This theory was so complex and multifaceted that we gave him his complete article, which you should definitely consult. But if you prefer the abridged version, here it is:
We all assumed that Dr. Strange had given Thanos the cornerstone because it was the only way to set up the timeline of 14 million and over in which he saw the Avengers win the conflict. But that can go further than that; Strange may have created a trap for Thanos by sending the stone forward in time. The explanation of the deep dive is very convincing, but it is essentially up to Strange to send the future Tony Stark the Stone to go back in time and warn the Avengers of the impending threat of Thanos.
There is more than that, but you have the general idea.

The gamora theory
Thanos kills Gamora to undress the soul stone, but that's Gamora really death? Fortunately for the fans, half of the Russo brothers have decided to comment on the case.
One of the biggest speculation points that War of infinity generated on the stage between Thanos and the young Gamora after he wiped out half the population of the universe.
At this, the co-director explained (via TheRealStanLee.com):
"Yeah, it's the soul stone. Everything is orange around, so [Thanos] is inside the soul stone with the amount of power that it took to break his fingers. He has this experience out of the body. [Gamora], in fact, is [alive]. It was an attempt on our part – because we do not like two-dimensional roles or three-dimensional bad guys where every villain is a hero in his own story. And as crazy and psychotic and brutal and violent as Thanos, he is a more complex villain if you go on an emotional journey with him.
If Gamora is indeed alive and trapped in the soul stone, it goes without saying that the rest of our fallen heroes is also present in the world of souls. Hopefully, a few significant deaths will add emotional weight, but this seems to be the most sensible way to bring back fans' favorites.

the Avengers 4 Theory of the end
This is not so much a theory as a potential Avengers 4 spoiler warning. You have been warned.
This description of the end of next year Avengers 4 was originally released on 4chan before being quickly dismantled. You can find the archived link here. Normally, you should not put a lot of things in these rumors on the Internet, but the fact that it was removed so quickly is … interesting.
It should be noted that another rumor circulates online: there are only two original Avengers left after the events of the film, which this separate plot description seems to support.
"The camera seen in the leak pictures allows the user to harness the power of stones to infinity. After defeating Thanos, each original Avenger is left with an overflowing stone and a choice.
Cape uses the stone of time, returns to the skin and lives her life with her.
Thor uses the soul stone, returning his brother from the dead, they rebuild the asgard on earth.
Bruce uses the spirit stone and separates himself from Hulk. They bid farewell and exchange a comforting hug.
Ant-man, who refuses the stone of reality, gives it selflessly to Wanda, who uses it as a new source of energy for Vision.
Finally, Tony finds himself with the power stone, swearing not to tap something so powerful, he destroys it … "
Again, all of this is pure speculation and could be 100% off-base. There is no mention of Hawkeye (who could be dead) or Black Widow and this description also mysteriously misses the cornerstone. But that would eliminate Captain America (by opening the door to Bucky to pick up the coat in modern times) and the Hulk. Thor would withdraw to be able to govern New Asgard. Hawkeye is dead or retired and Tony could stay as the new director of SHIELD.
