The Avital Cohen Instagram model reveals that the eating disorder has "frightened" her

The Instagram Model Avital Cohen's life may seem perfect online, but offline, she struggled with her way of seeing her body.

The 23-year-old Israeli influencer said he was struggling with a "serious eating disorder" in a recent Instagram article.

She posted a photo of 2014, where she weighed 92 pounds, next to a recent photo, where she weighs 116 pounds.

"I was scared to eat because in my head I was fat," she wrote in the caption. "I struggled a lot because food was my enemy."

But she said she reversed the situation by "dealing with my sanity" and started to see food as a way to live. She now eats six small meals a day and trains regularly.

"Since then, I am a much happier, more positive, healthier person and treat my body with the love it deserves," she told 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

His job has become viral online and now has more than 92,000 likes. The Instagram model has said it hopes its story will inspire others who are going through similar struggles.

"Use struggles as an effort to work harder on your mind and body," she said. "Not just to be fit but for everything you do."

Eating disorders affect people of all ages. In March, The Post published an article on Diane Butrym, a 57-year-old microbiologist who developed anorexia after an injury in 2002 and is still recovering today.
