HGTV's Fixer Upper stars announce the birth of their fifth child on Saturday, June 23rd and it looks like the little Crew is setting up beautifully. In fact, Joanna Gaines revealed on Instagram that her husband, Chip Gaines, is continuing a family tradition for their newest addition. According to his post, when their first son, Drake, was born 13 years ago, Chip wore his hospital wristband until he fell. He continued doing this for their next three kids, and he continues with Baby Crew.
Joanna posted a sweet picture of Crew being cradled on his father's lap. Chip's face is out of the frame, but his wrist is visible, and he still wears his hospital wristband a few days after the baby's arrival. The mother of five captioned the image,
"Chip began a tradition with Drake where he wore the hospital bracelet until he fell … looks like the continuous tradition # 5 "
Crew joins his older brothers – Drake, 13, and Duke, 10, – and his older sisters – Ella, 11, and Emmie Kay, 8. Just like his parents, the baby's siblings seem excited to have their little brother in their life. Shortly after the baby's arrival, Joanna shared a photo of all the kids meeting Crew for the first time, and, more recently, she posted an adorable photo of Ella and Emmie Kay in the process. In May, Joanna explained to People that older children are just as excited by the expansion of their families as their parents. She said,

Before the birth of Crew, Joanna explained to People that she was eager to soak up all the firsts of her little boy – which was a little difficult the first four times. Fix Upper finished his five-season run on April 3, but fans still love the Gaines family who loves boats.
