It may seem that Gisele Bündchen has it all. She is one of the most successful models on the planet. She is married to one of the NFL's top performing quarterbacks. Together, they have two children in good health. But in a new book, the beautiful Brazilian talked about some of her past struggles, including the most difficult moments of her relationship with Tom Brady and when she felt that she had reached the bottom of the atmosphere and that she wanted to put an end to her life.

Here are the biggest bombs revealed by Bündchen in his memoir entitled Lessons: My way to a life that makes sense.

Bündchen was constantly teased by others who were growing up

Hard to believe now, but the supermodel was actually teased and ridiculed about her appearance when she was a kid.

Bündchen grew up in the small town of Horizontina, in southern Brazil, and was much larger than any other child in her school. Because of his size, the boys never asked him to slow down the dance at parties and joined the girls who made fun of his surroundings. They called it "Olly", in reference to Popeye's cartoon character Olive Oyl.

"I remember once entering my classroom and seeing a poster on which was drawn a skeleton and under which someone had written:" Has anyone ever seen Olly? "

She was suffering from panic attacks and was planning to commit suicide

In 2003, Bündchen began to suffer panic attacks after a flight to Costa Rica. She developed serious anxiety and could not go into tunnels, elevators or any other small enclosed space. She also led a very unhealthy lifestyle by smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, drinking caffeine to stay awake and wine to help her sleep. She even considered committing suicide and explained in detail her intention to commit suicide by jumping from her balcony.

"Everything had become a cage and I was the animal trapped inside, which yearned to breathe," recalls Bündchen. "I could not see a way out and I could not stay one more day like that. The idea then invaded: maybe it will be easier if I just jump. It will be finished. There is a solution. I can get out of it.

Later, she was prescribed Xanax, but she decided to completely change her life by meditating, doing yoga, eating healthily and giving her habits to smoke and drink alcohol.

The model immediately regretted receiving breast implants

During her career, the former Secret Angel of Victoria was nicknamed "Breasts of Brazil" and "the Body", but after breastfeeding her children, she found that her breasts had become irregular and so decided to have implants placed.

"I felt very vulnerable because I could train, I can eat healthy, but I can not change the fact that my two children liked the left breast more than the right one. All I wanted was to be fair and stop people from commenting on it, "she admitted.

After leaving the surgery, however, she regretted the decision to go under the knife. "When I woke up, I thought," What did I do? "I felt like I was living in a body that I did not recognize," she said. "During the first year, I brought [baggy] clothes because I felt uncomfortable. "

She was crushed when she discovered that Brady's ex-wife was pregnant.

In 2006, she began dating Brady, but a few months later, she learned that her ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, was pregnant with the quarterback child.

"Two months after the beginning of our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant," wrote Bündchen. "The next day, the news was everywhere and I felt that my world had been upset."

She then asked if she should stay in the relationship or go away. The model finally chose to stay with Brady and Moynahan gave birth to a boy, John Edward Thomas, in 2007.

Today, Bündchen calls the eldest son of her husband his "bonus child".

Bündchen thought that she was a terrible mother

As for the management of her two children, the model actually thought she was a terrible mother.

She explained that her feelings stemmed from the guilt of having to leave by modeling jobs when they were babies. "I had all this horrible self-imposed guilt. I thought what a terrible mother I was for leaving my child even for one day, "she said.

Bündchen also revealed that when she adapted to motherhood, she and Brady had some disagreements because she was "out of date" and was not always the "kindest partner". However, she learned from these experiences and now their bond and mutual love are stronger already.

"When someone you love is happy, that makes him happy, or if he's sad, it makes him sad. You suffer with them and you have joy with them, "said Bundchen.
