It seems that Marquette King could still be slightly bitter about the fact that the Raiders surprisingly decided to cut it off during the off season.
Fortunately for King, he was able to take revenge Sunday after his new team (the Broncos) returned from a deficit of 12 points in the second period to beat his former team 20-19.
To be honest though, I'm not even sure that the victory counts as a revenge, because I'm sure his real revenge came a few hours after the match when he posted a video on Twitter that clearly seemed to make fun of the game. Man who made the decision to drive him back in March: Jon Gruden.
King's video basically contained everything you could want in an insulting video of Gruden.
Chucky Doll? Check.
Dollar bills representing Gruden's contract? Check.
A condescending tap on the head? Check.
Say to the head that Marquette knows something about Gruden that we do not know? Check.
I do not know at all when King filmed this or how he found empty parking in downtown Denver, but the important thing is that he did those two things and found the time to make a video of 32 seconds. . If you are going to drag your former coach, that's the way to do it.
Based on the title of this video, "Dear BFF … Part I", it looks like we would have another one in the future. If it comes out after the Broncos-Raiders next match, it means that King will not release the second game before Christmas Eve.
As for his relationship with Gruden, there seems to have never been one. After his cup, King said he had never had a chance to talk to his new coach, even though he was part of the team two months after hiring Gruden.

King also beat the ball four times for 204 yards in the game, a total that includes a monstrous 66 yards in the first period.
The 29-year-old spent the first six seasons of his career in Oakland before being eliminated in March. Less than a week later, the Broncos signed it for a three-year contract.
