FOXBORO – Tom Brady did not have time to ask questions to Alex Guerrero recently.
After the news of Julian Edelman's suspension was published, Brady left the back and forth with reporters when asked about the relationship between Guerrero and Edelman.
During his last appearance on the WEEI show at Kirk and Callahan Show, he hung up on hearing too much what he considered a question of Guerrero. (Brady said he was thinking of continuing his weekly spot with WEEI, and Chad Finn of the Boston Globe tweet later that Brady could end up being interviewed by the station's noon show.
On Friday, Brady was questioned again about Guerrero. He did not leave the podium inside Gillette Stadium. He just explained that he wanted to focus on football.
"Alex and I are working together," Brady said, questioned about Guerrero's current arrangement with the Patriots. "I do not want to bring drama this year, you know? I just want to focus on what I want and be a great football player for this team and try to be a good example in the locker room and provide excellent leadership. It's where I focus. "
Guerrero was allowed to travel with the Carolina team during the pre-season, and it appears that Patriots' travel ban last season was lifted. Guerrero, however, was out of nothing in the team's pre-season games. It therefore seems that this restriction has been postponed from 2017.
